When I try to log on to ts3 is says that the server needs to be updated. Just thought to pass that info along. Need to update your ts3 server.

AFAIK there's no TeamSpeakOverlay type app for TS3 yet.
Seems most here are still using TS2 and that's fine by me, I'd just as soon wait until TSO or something similar comes available for TS3. I flew some coops the other day with another group using TS3 and it was pretty disorienting having no TSO. I know not everyone uses it with TS2 either but it seems most do and it's pretty useful.
And there are enough problems with brevity, without everyone also having to ID themselves when speaking..

Supposedly there is a TSO built into TS3. You just have to enable the plugin. I don't know exactly how but it's in some sort of subdirectory.

It has the support in it for Plugins, that is all. The appropriate dll files are supplied with your chosen application. See below for the 2 that are around at the moment.
There is development of TSO by qbnut underway at the moment. Thunderbolt and myself have been beta testing see this site..
http://www.projecttint.com/editions_std.php
To be honest I have not followed this up as it is buggy and to get involved you have to be a beta tester and it is closed to new people. I am also using Windows 7 x 64 and I only managed to get it working for 1 day. Too much effort as far as I am concerned.
There is a another route and it is called PayClaw see here...
http://www.playclaw.com/
This works brilliantly and you can get 15 days free trial. After that unfortunately you have to pay for it. It works great in Windows 7 x 64 and you can make videos using it and also you can Print Screen in the game and it saves the output to a specified location. I get some brilliant shots in the game and you can output in jpg and other formats.

TS3 works better, for some unknown reason, with my bluetooth headset.
Sound is clearer, even more so than the wired headset difference between it and TS2.

TS3 has an app that allows it to display in the Logitech G15 keyboard - in TS3 go to Settings and select Plugins and click the G15 LCD display box

When will WoP move to TS3? Yes, I know there is a WoP TS3 site but no one seems to be using it. We have been running TS3 for our squadron for the last few weeks and it is a marked improvement on TS2.

Devil -
I agree with you that TS3 is markedly better than TS2. There have been a few issues with some pilots not hearing others well or some distortion.
The main issue is there is no Free TS3 overlay progam available like we have with TS2. Unless you own a G15/G19 Logitec keyboard it will cost you $15 USD for an overlay program.
There are too many pilots attached to their overlay programs. It would also help if TS3 was actually a production product and not Beta.

There is this as GunRunner posted;
http://www.projecttint.com/editions_std.php
It's open to anyone now, at least I was able to register and download it.
I tested it, it's buggy but usable and it's free.

Guys, try the Voipoverlay app (
http://www.voipoverlay.com/
) with this other
http://download.cnet.com/Time-Stopper/3000-2056_4-10868250.html
.
It`s working OK over Windows 7 32bits, I used TS2 and TS3 (for it you have to download the latest PLAYCLAW
http://www.playclaw.com/
because the lazy programmer didnt updated the PLUGINS for TS3 in the VOIPOVERLAY package, so you have to take those of the PLAYCLAW package).
The only problem for me is when I try to use both TS2 & TS3 at the same time. It`s start to lag the names and sometimes stop altogether until I ALT+TAB to desktop, and if I get some other overlay window message for a moment it get stuck too (a weather report, a download finished, a MSN popup, etc) so I have to ALT+TAB again.
The TIME-STOPPER app will load an AD from the internet every time you use it, dont panic is safe....or be a paranoic like me and block it with your firewall, it will be still freezing the time of the VOIPOVERLAY.
I like the VOIPOVERLAY, even with the flaws Im seeing, but because they charge 15U$S and they dont give you a free upgrade for a new version for a time period or for life (they seem to give you upgrades for free until they made a big upgrade change, but they dont say when they do that big leap or how many versions they made until they reach for example 2.0 and you have to pay for it again) Im waiting to pay for the FINAL product. Teamspeak 3 is still on beta, so you cant say for sure how many versions of the OVERLAY plugin will be coming out to be still compatible.
Have fun!!!!

The most recent version of TINT is their first release candidate and has the plugin installer helper resident in the package. You install TINT, run the plugin installer helper, go into TS3/settings/plugins and enable the TINT plugin (You may have to close TS3 or even reboot to get it as an option in your plugins folder).
You'll also want to make sure to go into the "configure components" and "configure global options" areas of TINT to set it up, but that's about it. (i.e. FPS & Overlay display locations, decay times, font size, etc,)
The previous version (B3) worked flawlessly for me and the RC1 has buggered it. Apparently I'm in the minority though as there's something peculiar to my rig along with a few other people, but when qbnut gets off vacation, he plans on addressing it with high priority.

Hello. I'm getting "outdated server version" message here.
Is there any plan to update WoP TS3 server to last version: 3.0.0-beta28?

It is the worst problem I had got with TS3 servers. The client claims to update, and then bang! you cannot connect to one server that was not updated. I wonder why they check it so strong (or maybe there is a matter of a setting I haven't found yet)
