Hello. I'm getting "outdated server version" message here.
Is there any plan to update WoP TS3 server to last version: 3.0.0-beta28?
They keep updating the server and the client. They are still all Beta! When it is more stable we will carry out an update. |

I wish all pilots would switch to t/s 3 .. Last BN there were a few of us on t/s 3 and the rest were on t/s 2 .. I would highly advocate that everyone switches to t/s 3 .. T/s 2 is much like rodger wilco in tghe past wereas t/s 2 is better , But T/s 3 is the Hi-fi of comms . so lets get on the same page and we can have alot more fun with bomber nights , Much like mAd blasters LOndon raid !!

Some people have problems with TS3, and it doesn't have a good display. However, I do realize that, on Bomber Nights, we need to have 1 or 2 pilots with BOTH TS2 and TS3 set up, who can act as liaisons between the two groups and repeat messages as needed.

Personally I was under the impression that TS3 was still in beta? I have no idea why.
I'm happy to go wherever with TS.
If there is a migration to TS3 then sweet. If not I'll probably keep using TS2 until told otherwise.

The TS overlay is what is says. It overlays TS2 and nothing else because it is a separate program. It allows for seeing who is talking on TS2 and does not work on TS3. It does not switch between applications. If you wish to see who is talking in TS3 you naturally have to load TS3 client and you need to use Payclaw that has to be paid for to see who is talking whilst you are flying. There is a trial version of Payclaw that runs out after a period of time. |

Well Gunner thanks for that Info .. I went to t/s forums and cleaned out a file , so now I have both installed .. I hope that In the future pilots would consider t/s3 for there comms . at least it is a better form in clarity . however it seems that il2 pilots are at least 1 year behind and than it will the popular thing to do . that seems true with the mods that we wanning around 2007 , than now look its here , so it should be t/s3 , but until than for BN I commited to work with the blue team . so all the tools that are needed , need to be ready ..

Looks like TS3 is in it's final stages. According to their website they are close to a RC1 version pretty soon and hope to have a final by Q1 2011. I like TS3 in terms of the Voice Quality but by not having Overlay or Tint it's difficult to know who is talking.
