Let me put it this way.  Evil_Eye has spent hours of his time giving us this new updated software to display our hobby and I presume if he can improve the donations display, I am sure he will.

Why did you stop displaying the amounts donated by the individuals on your front page?
Don't you think that people like Rexavian truly deserve the credit for their great generosity?

The amounts donated are listed on the "Donations" page.

The the amounts removed from the main page was done simply for
reasons of privacy. The home page can be viewed by the whole world (lot's of unscrupulous people out there),
but this way you must be at least a reg member to view the donations page.

I was right then, it was done on purpose.

So just to help me understand, can you give me a couple of theoretical scenarios where that information might be used by someone unscrupulous?

If the server owners (any server, any owner) wants to make public or private any information, I would think that's entirely their perogative.

Over many years of involvement with this sort of thing on several servers, I can personally attest that there have been many, many folks who have donated in the past that DO NOT want their names brought to the forefront in any manner.

I don't know if this is the case with Rex or not, but it would certainly seem worth consideration before taking the position of someone trying to hide something.

What I truly do not understand about any of this is a situation of someone doing a very kind thing that has somehow turned into something negative.
