I've headed over to the UP forums to find out if this was true.  According to one of the developers Manysh UP is very much alive.  Can someone confirm.  If that is the case it's kind of a bummer given all the things the final version promised.  Also it looks as though if we want further development we have to HFSX.

I have had contact with one guy from UP who sent me a pm. It is not my policy to post on the open forum what a person says behind close doors to me or to other admins.  Suffice to say that the person advised me that he is embarrassed that nothing is being done and there is very little activity over on their site.

There are many things that need fixing and IMHO too many cooks spoiled the broth and we are left in a situation where we have to make do and mend with some things.  Especially on Spits vs 109s Mods.  I am sorry I will not go into details any further and cannot or will not answer any more on this subject.

I am sorry if this offends, but it is better to tell you the truth.   If you wish to find out more hop over to the UP site.

Well poop  Shocked...  That's disappointing to say the least.  It reminds me of when Monguse and gang did the first set of mods and made the collections.  Too many cooks is about the best way to describe the breakdown.

The good news is that UP is still good enough for now even though it's far from perfect.   Also CLOD is coming along slowly but it's encouraging.

Who knows maybe UP will get the band back together and get UP up to speed.

Just hope the right people pick it up again.

Also you guys should step up and encourage focus on changes that are highly requested by the people on the only proper server using their mod.

Also, Gun, is it cool if I use some of your post on the UP forum just to stir things up there?

Well some of the recent posts by supposed Devs say they are still working on things.  Who knows what's really going on. Such a shame they couldn't keep things on track.

Not os sure UP's is the problem.. If you fly it off line things work very well - Gun's Planes and other things are good.  It's when you go on line and run up against Balance that things go very bad..

Well GR

I stirred up some questions over on the UP forums to see if we can get an official answer.  Let's wait to see if they will answer. I have my doubts based upon other comments made by GS members.

We will see

Perhaps that is just the "Party Line" to keep people interested.  There are many things that are incomplete, so bug fixes and problems need sorting out before any further development is contemplated.

Oh I'm sure there are a lot of things that need to be reprioritized.  They will need to get to a code complete before testing can be done.  No way you can test while developing.
