Being a long time North Dakota resident don't normally give a guy much to crow about..., but-
If anyone is interested or has the time to stop by there is a great air museum going in Minot ND.
I grew up in Wahpeton ND where Jerry Beck and friends rebuilt several WWII planes including one of only 3 Zeros still flying. The Zero in question is a Pearl Harbor version which makes it the only flying one of it's era. I apologize for not knowing it's exact designation, but I believe it's an A6M2 of some sub variant.
Texas Flying legends has acquired this a/c and it and several others (P-40, B-25 are ones I can remember off hand) that are now on loan for the summer to the Dakota territory air museum in Minot.
Anyone who holds a VFR ticket may be interested in the sweepstakes they got going on;
http://www.dakotaterritoryairmuseum.com/sweepstakes.phpI'm not affiliated with these guys in any way, but I had to post this. I spent almost an entire day up there last weekend. These guys, under their close supervision, let me get up close and even into a couple planes.
If you are up in that area, it's a MUST GO if for nothing else that if you are a real aviation nut these guys will figure that out and give you a tour and access the President wouldn't get.
