On spitsvs109s mods,

As the title says all is good until it says I need MDS v1.2. Then I go to the Ultrapack site to download it and apparently the file hasn't existed for a while. Do I actually need this file? Is so is there another place to get it?

Thank you.

Have you carried out the procedures in this post?

I did that whole process. One thing different is that I have the Direct2Drive version and needed the SAS D2D patch to get things beyond 5%. I didn't apply that until after all the installs I suppose I'll clear the slate and try to reinstall with the SAS D2D patch first. Is the MDS file included in the patches/mods or is it just freaking out? lol

The MDS version is in the patch.  Are you using Hyperlobby and are you pointing it at the correct directory?  Have you set to Ultrapack 3

Reinstalling now. I'll do as you've posted and get back with ya on the result. Wink

Again, thank you!

Make sure in the mods selector you do NOT choose the haken/swastika enabler, just UP3, that's what caused problems for me.

Wow that was it thanks a ton! Is there a way to get the widescreen enabler to work, or did I see somewhere that it won't be until UP3.1 is released?

I think it changes some important files around, so that the Warbirds of Prey servers do not allow you in if you enable any of those. You have to use plain vanilla UP3.0 without any mods Smiley

Wittman, widescreen mod is pretty much useless, why? well here you go: you can go into your conf.ini file and make IL-2 widescreen just fine, with the mod, when you're trying to select the base you have to click about one inch under the base icon or otherwise it won't work. So my suggestion is: go to your conf.ini and set the resolution that you want.

But the menu, chatbar, in-game maps, speedbar, etc are all with the correct aspect ratio and all that Smiley
