Yes of course. But when it is transmitted over chat it must NOT be sent to ALL or MY ARMY, but a selection on the menu that has the team mate listed, otherwise it is disruptive.
Oy Vey!!
Now I know I have not flown much as all the mods just have my gead spinning a bit.
But this topic has me awestruck.
When I flew I saw "Check 666" or some combination of it all time.
Did I break? Did I lose me edge? Was my advantage forever gone?
No
Why, because I had situational awareness. (AND TS)
If we want to talk realism...what about during operation Skye in WWII when we sent false messages to decieve the enemy?
I am sure I could find other situations where this technique was used.
I don't understand the reasoning behind someone sending "Check 6" over the chat bar being disruptive.
It may make me look around if I am not doing something else, but not enough to ruin the gaming experience.
If that is enough to win the map, then so be it.
It may work once..maybe twice...but I would think that the individual who fell for it would learn eventually.
If someone uses it what happens?
Do they get a ban?
A reprimand?
A cigarette and blindfold?
I just think that some common sense and lattitude should be used especially in this situation.
Put a poll up and see what everyone thinks.
